Bryn Fôn a`r Band Bryn Fôn a`r Band evolved from Sobin a`r Smaeliaid, a very popular band in the eighties and ninties. Following Sobin, Bryn Fon recorded a CD of Emyr Huws Jones`s songs, and was such an instant success that the session musicians employed for recording the CD enjoyed the launch tour so much they stayed and formed the band. After some coming and going the present line-up have been together almost ten years. www.labelabel.co.uk |

Midge Ure Musical success is seldom measured in time spans of more than a few years, if not Andy Warhol's oft quoted "fifteen minutes", so the fact that by the time Midge's single "If I Was" went to No1 in 1985 he had already crammed several musical lifetimes into a 10 year professional career speaks volumes - Slik, The Rich Kids, Thin Lizzy, Visage, Ultravox and of course the most famous one off group in musical history Band Aid had by then all had the guiding hand of his musical navigation. Tracks like, 'Dancing With Tears in My Eyes', 'Love's Great Adventure' and 1981's timeless 'Vienna' were all massive hits the world over as they charted with awesome regularity. He also co-wrote Band Aid's 'Do they Know it's Christmas' - Midge Ure is a true Legend, and not to be missed. www.midgeure.com |

Meic Stevens Meic Stevens has been an integral part of the Welsh music scene since the beginning of the 1960s. He was spotted as a Welsh performer at an early age when he appeared on an early TV pop programme.Meic Stevens is a Welsh singer-songwriter who is often referred to as "the Welsh Dylan" and is a national Welsh hero, He was discovered by DJ Jimmy Savile, who saw him performing in a Manchester folk club in 1965. This led to Stevens recording his first single - with arranger John Paul Jones (later of Led Zeppelin) - for Decca Records that same year. "I'm unknown. I'm a loner. I've never been involved with agents or anything like that. I've never pushed it. I could have made millions and millions from Warners in the 60s. I could have been up there with Van the Man and Neil Young. It's not for me." - Meic Stevens |

Race Horses (Previously Radio Luxembourg) We are now Race Horses - Over the past few months it has become apparent that we can't carry on using the name Radio Luxembourg (due to a conflict of interest and possible legal problems with the radio station of that name). Don't ask us why we didn't look into this sooner!! But with a new drummer, lots of new songs and a new single set for release in late April, we are set to race ahead, and gallop into 2009! So join us and keep your ears peeled and your eyes ajar... |

Elin Fflur Elin Fflur's astonishing voice and gift for melody have made her one of Wales' most exciting young artists. The unique style and soul of her new album Hafana combine rock with the grit, storytelling art and irresistible melodies of her Welsh roots. Born on Anglesey in 1984, Elin grew up on the island speaking Welsh and surrounded by music. ‘It's always been around, from my very earliest memories’ she says. Her mother Nest Llewellyn Jones, a talented musician, was lead vocalist with the influential folk band Bran. In 1978, Bran won the Song for Wales competition – a contest Elin herself would win 24 years later with a song by the same composer, Arfon Win. Nest's daughter soon proved to have inherited her gifts, singing from the age of three in local Eisteddfods, then becoming a well-known performer at the national level. www.myspace.com/elinfflur |

Chwarter Call We came together, in the faith of God, in a shed in the middle of Anglesey in the middle of the hard winter of 2007. Many failed as the tried to reach this sacred shed, but only four induviduals succeeded, we called ourselves 'Chwarter Call'. In this band, we have Richwoo singing; Dafydd Glyn violating the drums; Dafydd Llyws fingering thick strings (bass); and Daniel fingering thinner strings (guitar). Unfortunately, Llyws has left us, and has moved far far away, to a place where he can experience true inner peace. In his place, violating thick strings is Tom Hughes. Also, our beloved drummer, Dafydd Glyn, has left us to go "skiing" in France, thus in his place, on the drums we have Mr Dave Challis. The music that comes out of this shed is a mix of bluesey/funky/rock. Have a listen... www.myspace.com/chwartercall |

Blanco Diablo (from the USA) "Blanco Diablo's debut 'Paper Poison Revolution' is a riff-riot collection of songs that lumbers and stomps at just the right pace (think Urge Overkill meets Sabbath and AC/DC's Young brothers at Billy Gibbons' Texas ranch)". This is a band on a mission and not one of those panty-waist, boy band evil missions either - this is dangerous rock & roll that engages the brain as well as the bones. The band's timeless rock songs have an edge all their own, honed with a relentlessly intense musical middle finger thrust at double-talking politicos that will define a genre, not mimic one. The band gained regular radio play in the the Southeastern US on stations such as WEND, WRXR, WOBX, WXQR, WRCQ, WYBB, WTPT, and WBZT for their debut single "Fix Me Again". In the UK, the band has 3 different singles in rotation on Bruce Dickinson's Rock Show on BBC www.blancodiablomusic.com |

Transit Transit are a three piece rock band from Anglesey who have been together since 2007. The three members have different musical influences which provides a mixture of styles. the band has taken on a punk element to their own material, but cover a wide range of genres. The bands name 'Transit' does originate from the van, because this was their first mode of transport to gigs, and creativity was rationed that week. |

Rafters After forming in late 2004, Rafters have gone from strength to strength, writing original material whilst developing a different sound which they believe would attract all music lovers. With five members all from North West Wales and all bringing vast influences to the table, Rafters are determined to become known to all kinds of music fans. During the first few years, Rhys Mwyn guided and helped the band to fill up their calendar with various gigs across North Wales which in turn perfected and nurtured their rock’n’roll wall of sound. The set list at the time was a mix of their own original material along with many cover versions of their favourite songs. As for the remainder of 2009, Rafters are determined to continue writing more original material, with hope to go into the studio to record their debut album / EP and to be back on the road where they love to be, performing live to audiences across Wales and hopefully beyond.. www.myspace.com/raftersukmusic |
